Death ends a form of existence not chosen by oneself with many possibilities of suffering; if one has the luck of deep love at the same time, it works at first as a full compensation for the compulsion to exist, as long as the will to survive still works - but one must leave the loved ones behind alone or live on without them - this is again a negative compensation of the compensation experienced so positively before.

Der Tod beendet eine nicht selbst gewählte Existenzform mit vielerlei Leidensmög-lichkeiten; hat man das Glück tiefer Liebe zugleich, wirkt es zunächst als voller Ausgleich für den Zwang zur Existenz, solange der Überlebenswille noch wirkt - aber man muss den geliebte Menschen allein zurücklassen bzw. ohne sie weiterleben - das ist wiederum ein negativer Ausgleich des zuvor so positiv erlebten Ausgleiches.
